Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Web Relics and how the site works.

What is Web Relics?

Web Relics is the Encyclopedia for the weirdest corners of the world wide web. Before, it was a daily-curated archive of forgotten, weird, and strange corners of the internet. One relic per day, every day.

How often is it updated?

Everytime a new article has been posted and approved by admins. Before, a new relic was featured every day. Check the Archive for everything that's been featured so far.

Do you track me?

No. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no ads (other than the house recommendations for our own stuff). The only third-party cookie is hCaptcha, which is only loaded if you explicitly consent to it for commenting, creating an account, or creating an article.

Can I submit a site?

Yes! If you have an account you can create articles for free, with the condition of meeting Contribution requirements.

How is Web Relics funded?

Entirely self-funded. Hosting, domain, and everything else is paid for out of pocket.
